# Pitch plans and RSVP Phlip's core loop: someone pitches a plan as a **card**, the group commits, everyone shows up. Chat exists to support that — not the other way round. ## The card hand Creating an event isn't a form — it's a hand of cards. **Flick or drag a card** from your hand onto the timeline to pitch it. Reorder your hand, undo a throw, and keep durable drafts for plans you're not ready to pitch yet. - **Preset cards** cover the usual suspects. - **Custom cards** you can draw yourself on the draw-pad. - Cards carry **categories** and **locations**, and channels can filter by both. > [!note] 📷 Photo needed > The card hand mid-flick onto the timeline. This is the money shot of the whole site. Firm it up as the plan firms up. Events can also **chain** together for multi-part days. ## The timeline Pitched plans land on a timeline you can view by **month, week, or day**. > [!note] 📷 Photo needed > Timeline month view with a few event cards. Save as `_images/pitch-timeline.png`. ## RSVP, reactions, notes Open a card to **RSVP** — the attendee list updates live, so you watch names land in real time. Add **reactions** (including ones you draw yourself) and **notes** for the details chat would lose. > [!note] 📷 Photo needed > An open event with live RSVPs and a drawn reaction. Save as `_images/pitch-rsvp.png`. ## Upcoming and Memories - **Upcoming** — a flick deck of everything you're Going / Maybe / Invited to, across all your servers. - **Memories** — past events, filterable by channel or member. You can attach a photo from your device to compose a shareable memory card; **memory photos never leave your device** — they're stored locally, not uploaded to the server. ## Share the pitch Any event card can be shared to WhatsApp as a **card image with a deep link**, so people outside the server can see the plan and tap through to join. --- **Can't agree what to do in the first place?** That's what [[Run an Open Pitch]] is for.
